Phonetic for Teachers is a sub-theme of English for Teachers project under the program of Saya Loi Aint to polish and equip language teachers from Myanmar with essential knowledge and skills of English pronunciation, sounds and International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).

Participants develop an understanding of English sounds, including vowels, consonants, and voiced and voiceless sounds, as well as how these sounds are grouped and represented using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). The curse emphasizes practical strategies for teaching pronunciation effectively and concludes with a portfolio and final exam to demonstrate professional competence in pronunciation instruction. |
